How to choose the right fitted sheet size
Measure the length, width, and depth of your mattress, then match it to the sheet size. Here is how to read single, queen, king, and depths from T20 to T40.
A sheet that is too small keeps slipping off the corners, and one that is too big looks wrinkled. Measure your mattress before you buy so the sheet fits properly.
1. Measure the width, length, and depth
Use a tape measure. Measure the width and length across the top of the mattress, then measure the depth from the bottom edge to the top edge. Depth is often forgotten, yet it decides whether the sheet stays neat.
2. Match it to a sheet size
| Size name | Mattress size (cm) |
|---|---|
| Single | 90 x 200, 100 x 200, or 120 x 200 |
| Queen | 160 x 200 |
| King | 180 x 200 |
| Extra King | 200 x 200 |
3. Pick the sheet depth
In our product names, the depth is written with a T code. T20 fits mattresses up to 20 cm deep, T25 up to 25 cm, T30 up to 30 cm, and T40 up to 40 cm. Choose the same code as your mattress depth or one size up, so the elastic can tuck under the mattress.
4. Other terms you will see
- B2 and B4: the number of pillowcases in a set, 2 or 4.
- Fitted: a sheet with elastic on all four sides that wraps the mattress.
- Rumbai: a bed cover or sheet with an extra skirt that hangs down the sides.
- 2 in 1: a set for a trundle bed, for example 120 plus 100.
